how can i play a vhs tape and put it on my pc?

If you pc has a tv tuner card, it mostly has the necessary inputs on the back.. Perhaps an S-video plug and a separate audio plug as well.. Mine does...I then played all my home movies that were on vhs tapes .. stored them and made dvd's....
