I go to Hobart High School in Hobart Indiana and we're not even allowed to have cell phones on us. Technically if a staff member sees a cell phone it's supposed to be confiscated. We can't use them between classes or at lunch. Tons of kids still use them though but if caught they can have the cellphone taken away and they can get a referral which can mean suspension and/or detention and/or a zero for your class. and your not allowed to make up any work that you miss if your suspended because of your cell phone.

No, this is way too elementary to get distracted with them. At my youngster's college this is allowed provided that the determine has signed a permission slip for the youngster to save it off and in his backpack the finished day lengthy as an social gathering if the youngster desires to apply it after college for some reason. i imagine this coverage is nice yet there might want to by no skill be a time even as toddlers must be wearing round cells for the duration of their training, and by no skill might want to the phone be on if a toddler doesn't favor it. I have signed the permission slip because they take a bus and interior the style of an emergency i go with to be able to the contact them. additionally they play activities and that is sensible for away video games even as they commute on a bus. My toddlers comprehend that there'll be agency outcomes if i encounter out that their telephone has been on for any reason in school and in the journey that they have got been calling/texting someone for the duration of type.

Im a Sophomore at Perry County Central High School, and we're not allowed to use them during class time, but we can use them between classes, at lunch, and at break. They don't take the phones if we're caught using them during class, but they will ask us to hang up or get a zero for the day.
