The sternum I guess is the breast-bone. Well, you know how you can crack your knuckles and toes and back? My sternum can do that, now. It happens when I try to stretch or crack my back. It's really weird and I'm not used to it. Will I be all right? Is it normal?

The way I was explained the "Cracking" noise that you hear when you do that to any of your extremides is.. There are gasses that build up between your bones and muscles. Tightness happens and the gasses need to be released. That is the sound your hearing whenever you "crack" any part of your body. I beileve that you will be fine. If it becomes painful or really uncomfortable you may want to speak to your doctor about your conserns. However I do not believe that you have nothing to worry about. Your just streching those places in your body that need it.

I do that too. Could just be your ribs or a tendon/ligament shifting.
