I use to work in the call center for T-mobile and after working there I will not go with anohter provider. Yes I know if i worked there then I will say to go with it but I really do like the company from a customer stand point. They have excelent customer service if you need help. the min plans are really good and there is only a 1 year service agreement. (most other companys have 2 years) And with this you can still change plans at any time as long as the phone is in use you are good. They also allow you to upgrade your phone after a year. You will keep your old one but you can purchase a new one and a nice discount just for renuing your contract for another year. they are also really good to there workers. You may want to watch some of the dealers ( like in the stores) they are not always truthful so get everything in writing. If something does happen and you have it in writing then customer care will take care of it no questions asked and the dealer will get in trouble.
If we got Tmobile service were i now live I would have it, but since not we have no cell phone.
After looking a few other post about reception. go to there web site or call in to there customer care or go to the store. they can put in any add and you can see what type of coverage you should get. For instance your home work ect.. I think this will help the best for deciding

I had T-Moblie for two years and I really didn't care for them. I lost my phone and bought a new one outright which I paid $400 for. A few months later the phone was having problems. They agreed to switch it out and mailed me a new phone, but the box was empty! I called them to let them know and they mailed out a new one but then charged me $400 because they said they already sent one out. It took a long time of fighting with them. Through this process, which lasted about six weeks I had no use of my phone but still had to pay the bill. They didn't give me any kind of discount and only offered me 50 free minutes. I also found that the reception wasn't great and my calls were dropped all the time. This was in 2004 so maybe their customer service and/or reception is a littler better now. I have had Verizon for the past two years and have had no problems with them at all.

I live in western Maryland and the coverage is not that great. Alot of dropped calls or no service. I signed onto a great plan, lots of minutes and low cost, but not worth it.

they are great, our family is with them for over 4 years, they unlock phones for free (so that you can use them overseas with other prepais SIM cards)
good coverage in most areas.
