I am doing a science fair project and I wanted to know what do you think? Do you think your plate is cleaner or your toilet? And I would also like to know why. I am asking this question because I want to know how much the average person knows about germs and such. Thanks so much for your help!

My plate gets sterilized by the dishwasher, I can only hope it is cleaner!

I think your plate has more germs, since it's often in contact with food that spawns germs, while your toilet only get germs when you take a crap. (Urine is sterile.)
I suppose your toilet would have more germs if you failed to clean it while you cleaned your plate often, but that is not often the case.

No, my plates are cleaner than my toilet..
Whether or not someones elses toilet is cleaner than
their plate does not mean mine is...

i'd like to think my plate is cleaner than my toilet. the toilet constantly has water flowing through it and in it, which is great bacteria transportation.
and my plate goes through my dishwasher, which gets extremely hot, and i hope kills a good portion of the bacteria.
