Did he have anything to do with Bugsy Malone? I liked him. Although I do detest musical theatre with a passion I do rather enjoy watching Bugsy Malone.

He was more than just a little crazy, nuts, or bugsy, in the idiom of the time. One did not call him Bugsy to his face.
