First of all McNabb will probably not be ready for the start of next season (and may not be ready to play at all next season with the type of injury he sustained and the length of time it takes to fully recover to play at his level.)
Just look at how poorly Culpepper has played this year and he came back earlier from a lesser injury.
I think you should ask "who should the Eagles sign in the off-season to start"? Garcia or another FA?

McNabb is one of the best QB's in the NFL. Garcia is not a starter at this point in his career. People were saying the same thing about AJ Feeley a few years ago when he subbed for McNabb, but most people now don't even remember who AJ Feeley is.

No! It's kind of juvenile to state Garcia the starting QB next season after a few games. McNabb is one of the best QB's in the game.

Mcnabb aint gonna be ready for the begining of the season next year not till late October or early December....So it looks like Garcia is the right pick for now.

Of course he'll replace McNabb next season. Only because McNabb will be out for about half of that season too, however.

If Garcia keeps playing the way he is playing i think it could be a good possiblity...but most likely not..Mcnabb is the bigger name..and is the Leader of the Eagles..

Either you are a Redskins fan or you are smoking dope. Garcia is having a few decent games in a dumbed down offense. We've seen what he can do over the past few years over a full season. He was good in his days with the 9ers, but he just got old.
