my phone line is shot, they say its under the road, inside wire maintance wont cover it.
what can i use as a service provider? cable? or satalite?

Cable and satalite.
Some telco offer wireless surfing with handphone.
About 384kbps and you can surf anywhere as long you got a signal from your handphone.

There are both cable TV and Satellite internet connections
available...No telephone required...
Satellite is through "Star" satellite, a division of the Dish Network
