How can all you people say leave him alone he has served his time i live 10 minutes from this man and it's scary as i have a 2 year old girl, knowing that there is a paedophile living near by, we all should know exactly where they live why should we protect them, when they are free to prey on children, all of you who are saying mob rules is not the answer or leave him alone, would you be saying it if one of your children was molested or killed like this man and his gang killed a boy, no i don't think you would, and neither would the poor parents of the boy who was killed

i read an article about how they deal with these people in Iran the other day. Now we tend to have a lot of people muslim bashing on this site but they do it right over there. the paedo is tied to a post and the family are allowed to hit, stab this person, whatever they want. a rope is then put round their neck and they are lifted slowly off the ground, so no sudden death, its a long slow painful death of strangulation......helped along by the crowd stoning him!
Now thats justice for the B******ds

These criminals are rarely cured of their desire to hurt children so I can see why people are worried. And ten years seems a ridiculously short time when you consider what they did to that poor boy for their own pleasure. I think life should mean life or at least they should be kept in until they're too old and frail to cause anybody any harm.

Er...but he's served his time, has he not?

Who on earth do we think we are with tabloid-reading crowds ruling the roost with fags in their gobs, National Lottery tickets in pockets and White Lightning cans in their hands (who are also known by the authorities - albeit for different crimes)...we are a nation who hates children on the whole, and thus will ease our guilt by stalking sex-offenders who have indeed served the sentence bestowed upon him by Her Majesty's courts. Bit confused though...he's been out since 1997 - and obviously has been no trouble - could be News Of The Screws are in the wrong

Tell you what, though...Manchester City fans should be the ones to dish out retribution, as he changed his name to 'Francis Lee' - cheeky bastard!

It's a very emotive subject. However I don't think what these people are doing is helping anyone.

Do they really want this pervert to go underground, so no one knows where he is? That would put children in MORE danger.

The police should uphold the law of the land, and insist these people disperse, or face arrest for public disorder. They should also arrest the irresponsible people at the newspaper that created this situation.

Go home. there is surely no need to explain why mobs of local village idiots (i come form a village too) shouldnt go round assaltaing and harrasing others... is there?? But then again, if the News of the World print it - the masses will follow... oh dear. What IS this world coming to.
this is vastly inappropriate and irresponsible behaviour by that newspaper.. just like normal then!

The police should uphold the peace, as is their job to do.. though i supose what you want people to say is "help the locals kil the evil bast*rd"?

it fairly is definitely astounding, and it isn't the 1st time that scum have been set unfastened to devote extra stuff. while will the courts familiarize your self with what's glaring to us, and while will there be a fool-info device of keeping all good people from those blunders, that's what i might prefer to renowned. fairly, we do not know who we would be rubbing shoulders with once you hear stuff like this. this is disgraceful and unsafe.

The crowd should disperse. In a day or two, when he's settled back into the area, one or two locals could just stand around on the street corners, making him feel uncomfortable about being there. No one's breaking the law - the locals are just looking at him, & he's getting paranoid. No weapons involved at all.

The crowd outside his home should go back to their own homes and leave the man alone. However awful he may be, it is harassment to be outside his home when he hasn't committed another crime since being released. He served the majority of his time and got out for good behavior or whatever. Unless he does something again, he is free and clear of the past. The people should watch their children carefully and go about their daily lives.

The police should keep him under surveillance but not harass him.

They should go home. We don't have mob rule in this country. We've moved on since the middle ages thank God.
This man was released 10 years ago. Blame the News of the Screws for this idiocy now.
