I have A Gas Fire Place, the glass gets hot when just the pilot is on, how can I prevent kids from burns.?

you have two oppositions one put a screen in front the other is is the damper open to let it flow right

The obvious answer, keep the kids away from the fireplace. Buy a screen to put in front of the glass doors to provide an additional barrier for the kids. Or lastly, turn off the pilot light on your fireplace, this option would also save you money.

how old r ur kids if theyre smart enough theyll stay away from it.
