Hi

I have a HP laptop which does not have a wireless network card. I have a Linksys wireless router. Is there someway by which I can use any USB driven device which can help me work wireless with my laptop other than having a new wireless network card installed ? Right now I connect to the modem through the wire directly.. which is a pain. I dont own the laptop so I cant add the card. Any help will be greatly appreciated

regards

You can get a USB wireless connector.

Yes a external usb adapter will allow you to connect. The only concern you will have in picking an adapter besides the cost will be whether your router runs in the 802.11 a, b or g mode. 802.11a is virtually nonexistent b and g are the norm now. If you cannot determine which is your case then many b/g combination adapters are available and many g adapters are backward compatible with the older b. confused ??
