because when people are ignorant, they are more comfortable with what they know. something or someone different is scary to them, because they don't understand.
don't hate them, just pity them. and the only thing you can do is to expose them to change and diversity and hope it will open their eyes.

I think its part of our nature. Because i don't think its something we have to learn. Just like Lieing, No one has to teach a child how to lie. We have to learn not to Lie, And we have to learn not be rude to people who aren't our twin. I'll say 9 out of 10 people put others down so that they feel better about themselves. Its weird and its sad, but its been the same way FOREVER. Whenever you have a group of 3 or more it will happen.

Ahhh. ppls are screwed up, they're not like us, they are on a constant search for unity and regulation. They fear change and want to make other ppls feel bad as it makes them feel better. Just be glad your not a ppl.

Because ppl have to have something to pick on someone else about. It has been going on for ages and it will never change all you can do is know it is wrong and teach your children and their children it is wrong.

because a) they are ignorant and b) they feel as if they have to conform to their standards or do things their way. in truth these types of people dislike difference and feel as if anything that is seen as not being the 'norm' or is not deemed acceptable in their eyes, they wish to attack it. sad really. we live in a world of diversity; hence people of different nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, ages, hailing from various professions, male and female, sexual orientations. and yet certain individuals- or otherwise known as bigots wish to put and demean other people because of it.

because most people have tiny minds, what they need to do is open up their minds and be free and stop being an *** hole.because in about 20 years or so these people will realise that they have been an *** hole for all this time.people with free ,open minds rule.be free be happy.hope this helps......
