Depends on how bad the rectocele problem is. What degree is it. 1st, 2nd or 3rd degree rectocele. I worked with patients with cystocele and rectocele problems doing biofeedback, helping them target and specify the muscle that lifts the bladder and rectum. With first and second degree cystocele and rectoceles I did notice that it helped ALOT and most did very well. Make sure you are doing them right and dont do more damage.

A tip, to know you are doing your Kegels properly, lie down, place one hand on your lower abdomen. When you do a kegel make sure you are not tightening your abdomen. If you are, you are actually bearing down which makes it worse. This muscle is hard to target because it is as thin as a sheet of paper! Once you target your muscle properly, start slowly, squeeze for 3 seconds and rest for 6 seconds. It is just as important to rest as it is to squeeze. Then work your way up. Do these exercises 3 times a day. Try not to get constipated or strain when you have a bowel movement so your diet is important.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. I don't mind.
