Which is better,And1or NBA,and also what are the differences in the rules.

The And1 people are Ok but to go back to the basics and to go back to where the game started the NBA is better. The reason why i think this is because i mean And1 would be no where without the NBA because if you really think about it the NBA did actually kind of start the And1. But anyways its better to stick to the basics and go with the NBA, as far as rules go.....here u go.
NBA/Regulation Basketball Rules(James Naismith's Original 13 rules)
1 The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands
2 the ball may be batted in any direction with one, or both hands (never with the fist)
3 A player cannot run with the ball. the player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowances will be made for a man who catches the ball while running if he tries to stop.
4 The ball must be held by the hands. the arms or body must not be used for holding the ball
5 No shouldering, holding, pushing, tripping, or striking in any way the peron of an opponent shall be allowed; the first infrigement of this rule by any player shall count as a foul, the second shall disqualify him until the next goal is made. or if there was evident intent to injure the person for the whole game, no substitution allowed.
6 A foul is striking the ball with the fist, violation of Rules 3,4 and such as described in Rule 5.
7 If either side makes three consecutive fouls it shall count as a goal for the oppenent. (consecutive means without the oppenent making a basket in the meantime)
8 A goal shall be made when the ball is thrown or batted from the grounds into the basket and stays there, providing those defending the goal do not touch or disurb the goal. if the ball rest on the edges, and the oppenet moves the basket, it shall count as a goal
9 When the ball goes out of bounds, it shall be thrown into the feild of play by the person first touching it. He has the right to hold it unmolested for five seconds. in case of a dispute the umpire shall throw it staight into the feild. The thrower-in is allowed 5 seconds; if he holds it longer it shall goto the opponent. if any side persists in delaying the game, the umpire shall call a foul on that side.
10 The Umpire shall be the judge of the men and shall note the fouls and notify the referee when three consecutive fouls have been commited. He shall have the power to disquailify men accoring to Rule 5.
11 The Referee shall be judge of the ball, and shall decide when the ball is in play, in bounds, to which side the ball belongs, and shall keep the time. He shall decide when a goal has been made and keep account of the goals with any other duties that are permitted by the referee.
12 The Time shall be two fifteen-minute halvesm with five mintues rest between.
13 the side making the most goals in that tme shall be declared the winner. In case of a draw game the game may, be agreement of the captains, be continued until another goal is made.

There arent really any rules for And1 its just streetball.

And1 actually does have talent, but they aren't trying to show-off their fundamentals. People don't go to And1 games to see a pass to set up a jump shot, they go for the killer crossovers(which only work because defenders don't expect them to put the ball back on the floor after they pick up their dribble), and ridiculous ball handling skills. Plus you need to remember And1 players just play a group of people from each city that is picked a day before in an open run. It's not like they are playing McDonald's All Americans that have been scouted since they were 10 years old. The NBA is the best of the best and are on a whole different level.
As for the rules:
NBA has normal rules such as traveling, double-dribbling, and fouls.
And1 as long as they drain the shot, or cross they defender over it is allowed. I have watched a lot of the And1 games and the only person out on the court (besides the players) is the fat guy with the mic that say "OH BABY" over and over again.

nba is a lot better than the and 1 street tour. in the nba the goal is to win by any means necesary but in the and1 they try to do tricks and they show off too much. Its basically 5 kobe's and iverson's on the floor at the same time doing a bunch of ball hogging.

No doubt the NBA is way better. All the And1 players do is dunk and showoff, no one trys to stop the amazing playsfrom happening, it's all staged. The NBA actually has talent.

NBA is about a million times better. AND1 players can't even compare - no pundamentals for the most part, and defense hasn't even been invented for them yet.

well nba players are more talented or the and1 guys would be in the nba........with that said, the and1 guys are very talented themselves. they are more for show than anything though.......in a real game with all of the nba rules inforced....any nba team could beat those guys. thats just my opinion.

And1 players would find it difficult to compete in the NBA. There's a video where Hotsauce tries to embarrass an NBA player so the NBA player decides to play D and steal it off Hotsauce 3 times in a row.

i think the and1 players can play great in streetball but the NBa level is totally different.

and 1 guys are amazing but against a real nba defense i dont think that they could do a lot of those tricks it would be fun to watch
