I didn't quite get the description but I think you're talking about the beginnig of the level. There is a big box inside. You have to pull it under the divider over the giftshop. If you look up you'll see it glitter. Pull it down with the grapple hook, bring the box under it, climb the box and jump to grab the ledge of the opening
