Mine just died on Saturday and is 5 months old! I took it to the Sprint store and they said there is nothing they can do; I have to buy a new phone. I said "Isn't it still under warranty?" Well, yeah, they said, but you need to send it to Sanyo and they will fix it or replace it. Then, Sanyo tells me that since Sprint said there is corrosion in the connectors, they can't fix it either and it falls outside the warranty! I have treated this phone like a baby! What can I do? With Christmas, I don't have the money to buy a new phone and I don't have a landline anymore! HELP!

That is complete BS... How does it fall outside the warranty? I would question that. Also, I would keep harassing BOTH companies until you get what you want. Don't just accept "sorry I can't do anything about this" as an acceptable answer. 5 months and the phone is dead? That's poor manufacturing. If you still can't get anywhere with them you are either going to have to purchase a new phone or pay the money to get out of your contract. Look for used phones and see if they have any refurbished phones. But I wouldn't do this until you are exhausted from fighting with them. Then, when your contract is up run far far away! I have never had sprint, but know a few people who did and they didn't have great things to say. And next time, pay the extra money to get insurance on your phone. I found that out the hard way. The way cell phones and other electronics are made these days, you would be silly not to. Good luck!!!

Sorry to tell you this, but I have to be the one to reveal the blasphemous truth that is. Sprint is the Devil. No kidding. Sprint is the 'WORST' company in the world. Adolf Hitler is less evil than Sprint. Not only will Sprint not help you, they will hound you if you ever leave them. Oh yeah, there is no escaping the firey depths of Sprint's reach. If you leave them (and I pray you do) you will probably receive bills stating you owe them zero dollars for months on end.

Spread the word, Sprint = Evil. Die VirtualClair, Die!
