As red is very seasonal, and it's also very sensual I think you should go for subtle make-up. A clear lip gloss possibly with some added sparkle would look great. Not too much eye shadow but exagerate those eye lashes. Happy Christmas.

It really depends on what look you are going for and what you want to stand out. If you want your dress to stand out- you need neutral eye colors (gold, tan, beige, gray, etc.) and neutral lipstick (light tans, nudes, clear glosses)> If you are looking for your lips to stand out-- go for a bright red (see the Red Salsa color in the link). If you want your eyes to stand out- do neutral lips and a bright shadow with a metallic silver sparkle to pick up the sparkles in the dress. Either way though, since you are younger and definitely don't want to over do makeup ever-- I would say if you are going to use a color like Red Salsa that you tone it down with a sheery lipgloss over it to keep the look young and fresh.
See the link below for the colors of shades I'm talking about. It sounds like you will be beautiful!

as you have blondish hair i would try to find a lip gloss the same colour as your dress, but only do this if you have pale skin else the look wont work,if you have darker skin wear a clear or a light pink shimmery lip gloss stay clear of dark colour lipsticks go for dark lip glosses as you will find the lipstick hard to get off, hope ive helped.

Wear subdued lip color. A color close to your natural lip color is best with a dress like that. The dress you describe is colorful and sparkly so you don't want to add more sparkle or color to your face. Keep it under stated and you'll sophisticated and pretty.

Actually, the whole white wedding thing is only a modern tradition. Back in the day....it was common for brides to be in deep jewel tone gows. It has only been the last century or so that white became the norm for wedding gowns, Wear what you want, it is your day!

it all depends on the style of your dress.
If you want more of the glamorous look, then always go with a shade darker than your dress, the same with nail polish.
but if its more of a party type dress, then just swipe on some shimmery lip gloss.

Go with nudes or browns. Anything else will just clash with the red and make you look cheap.
