There's a section on the tax form to fill in your bank account number for that purpose.

On the tax forms there is a place to check if you want direct deposit. You must give them your banking info... account number and if it is checking or savings account. You will get your refund faster this way.

Request this service while your taxes are being prepared, very simple process. Inform your tax preparer with your bank information, routing number,bank name account number etc...

if its a joint return both names have to be on the account buy you just click,if doing taxes online,that you want it direct deposited

While giving your Bank details, properly fill the MICR Code , Bank Name and Adress and select "Yes" for ECS payment. Simple

Go to irs.gov and use form 8888. You can send your refund into as many as 3 different accounts.
