Eric Snow has proven to be a winner in the NBA taking the 76ers to the finals and leading the Cavs as one of the best teams in the East. What do you think about Eric Snows game? Does he get it done adequately for the Cavs? I have frequent arguements that the Cavs need a PG that scores more, but the Cavs have Lebron, Huges, Gooden, Marshall, Jones and so on, more then enough scoring. Snow in my opinion does his job and gets these guys the ball. So what do you all think out there?? Good point or do you disagree??

I think Snow is underrated, but here in Cleveland, he takes a lot of bashing from fans and local talk radio. I think he is a good defender and smart player, but since he doesn't score, fans don't respect him.

Snow is an alright point guard but isnt one of the best in the NBA at the moment. If you look at his stats hes only had 1 (1,000 point year), and has only had 1 (600 assist year), which is not too good for a point guard. I agree that hes been a winner but you have to look at the years that hes played with the teams and the star players on the team. Back in the day when he played for the 76ers in the span of 1997-2004 he had Allen Iverson, Toni Kucoc, Derrick Coleman, Dikembe Mutombo, Larry Hughes, Matt Geiger, Speedy Claxton, Aaron Mckie and many players that have helped them suceed. Then with the Cavaliers hes had Lebron James one if not the best player in the league right now and the playesr that you have named. Even though half of the players i named wont be recognized as NBA players in a couple of years they have helped Eric Snow. So Eric Snow is alright but not one of the top NBA Point Guards.

I agree
I think he is a very good point gard, a pure point gaurd almost

but he doesn't get the recognition he diserves because he is not one of those flashy point gaurds or a primeier scorers

I think he is the source of alot of the cavs success
(and alot of the sixers success in the past)
in fact I think the cavs need less scorers and more role players
I don't think they have a championship team yet

Snow is terrific in his role and his role alone only. He is simply asked to dribble the ball a little bit, pass it to James and above-all-else do not turn it over. If that is the criteria for a great point guard then he is one of the best.

If, however, you told me that all the PGs in the league were free agents and I had to rank them all, Snow wouldn't even be in the top 30. At $6.1M per year he is really pricey...

Snow fits perfect in that current makeup!!!! He is the best on the ball defender in basketball. Take him out of that lineup and it suffers immensely on the defensive side of the basketball!!!!! I also agree with your point!!! He really has helped the development of one of the top players in the game.

I think he benefits from Lebron, like everyone else on the team. Considering he doesn't even lead the team in apg, (Lebron does) so what do you need him for?

Taking the 76ers to the finals?!? Please. All that credit goes to Iverson.
