My best advice is to do the best out of three method or a blood test for security to save the stress. You can even wait for a missed period. pregnancy tests can vary and results obviously can also!

I'm not completely sure I understand the question, so I will break it down and answer as many possibilities as I can come up with. :)

1) If you have sex that results in a pregnancy, you will not get a positive test until about 2 weeks later. Using a test immediately after is a waste, because it takes time for the egg to become fertilized, then implant in the uterus, and then for the hormones to build up in your urine.

2) A pregnancy test is a limited time test. The directions will give a time limit - with something like "do not read after 10 minutes". If you read it after that time, the result may be wrong, which means a positive test may turn negative, and vice versa. So, if she was looking at the same test the next morning, she should go with the positive she originally got.

3) Taking two tests and getting a positive AND a negative is not all that uncommon. Even the same brand test does not always have the same sensitivity, so if she is borderline in her hormone numbers, she might get different results. It is best to wait a few days and test again - at the same time it is VERY unlikely to get a false positive.

Best of Luck to you!

There's no way a pregancy test would read positive right after sex unless she was already a couple of weeks pregnant before intercourse that time. Conception doesn't even necessarily occur right away and I would doubt the validity of a test taken at night anyway unless she's missed her period by about a week (pregnancy hormones are higher in morning urine.)

Tell her to have sex with her husband two weeks after the first day of her period and to test two weeks after that (right around the time her next period would be due... the day after it's due is best if it doesn't come on time.)

No point in wasting time on here just go to the store and take another test tomorrow morning. Or just for the hell of it take one now then one tomorrow morning again. If still confused obviously see a doctor.

Okay... tell her to buy two again... take them both at the same time... or right after the other... if they don't agree or both say pregnant she should get an appointment for a blood test.

Pregnancy testers are not 100% reliable (eek) and also it's still too early. the sperm can take between a few hours and a few days to reach the egg (if there is one). So don't panic/celebrate yet...

it would desire to be that the common of the embryo wasn't good adequate to stay related on your uterus. the mild coloration on the pee stick picked up the better hormones consequently of an egg and sperm fertilizing. i'm sorry to hearken to the embryo did no longer connect. shop attempting nevertheless.
