The Blood Test In UAE is mainly for Communicable Diseases only, this includes HIV only, however if found suspicious by the Dubai Police then you might be required to give blood samples for narcotics testing.

The blood test is only for deseases i.e. HIV. A drug test will be required, when some substances will be found with you or you act strange.

HIV postive - deportation
drug positive - prison and then deportation

By law they cannot test other then what they have your permission for. If they do then that can be excluded as evidence against the person and any thing followed up based on that evidence is not allowed to be admitted. This is the law .

People may go around that law by finding the loop hole or using a judge who may allow it. That is why there are appeals courts.

I am not sure if they test for drugs..but u betta b careful ... those ppl have no sense of humer when it comes to drug... any traces of drug and u are in jail for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time!!!
