I had never hear the cheer "who dat" until this season. I actually remember a song from the late 90s by the artist Sole' entitled "who dat," but never a football cheer. I have heard of "who dey" ever since the last time the Bengals went to the super bowl. So it comes across as if the Saints fans stole the Bengals cheer the same way the Braves fans stole the tomahawk chop and that annoying chant from FSU.
