my period is due dec 14th this morning (dec 11) i had red spotting; could this mean i am pregnant? i took a pregnancy test dec 9th and it was negative.

Red spotting is not indicative one way or the other. You could be about to get your period. You could have some implantation spotting. Or, some women actually have a light period even though they are pregnant.

The best thing to do is retest again. Many home pregnancy tests should give you an accurate result at this point in your cycle.

Absolutely not. It may just signify a change going on within you. A woman's body undergoes significant changes at 16, 19, 21, and 25. (approx.) Don't think just because you hit puberty once and your periods have always been regular that they're going to stay that way. (Many women don't realize this.)

Nope. It doesn't mean that you're NOT pregnant, but it is not a sign of pregnancy. Keep close watch and if there's any question, take another test in a couple of weeks. May I recommend First Response?!
