Yes as my son goes to his mothers every christmas, but this year I won't be alone, our dog will be here and will probally do things with her and give her some special treats. It is hard to be alone on the holidays, but one needs to find something to do and not to panic, who knows maybe someone will invite you over for a meal or something on that order, sometimes I get them at the last minute, and find it hard to say no as I really have nothing preapred to share with other people.

Yes. When I was in the military, I spent my first Thanksgiving and Christmas in Germany. It was kinda strange, however I had to go to work on Christmas.
Imagine, being in a guard shack, on the flightline 6,000 miles away from home. After a few years, it was alot easier to handle.

Yes, I have. I live in a small town in South Dakota with few friends, and all of my family lives at least a 1000 miles away. Sometimes, it's depressing especially if I open my presents early and have nothing to do on Christmas --- nothing at all.

Yes. I had the flu. And decided not to travel with my husband to his parent's house. It was truly pathetic in some ways. Home alone, sick, talking to the cat, blah blah blah. But then I also think it was the best decision because I would have gotten no rest traveling. And would have gotten sicker.

Yes, many times. And the worst time was when there was a house full of people. Once, I remember praying that there really was a Santa and I would walk downstairs and have a room full of presents. Didn't happen.

could Day is complicated. Christians are no longer in basic terms Christians yet in addition electorate of an earthly society. different than JWs, Christians do frequently have fun their birthdays, which has little to do with their faith. in case you spot could Day as Labour Day, it makes greater than a number of experience to have fun it as a Christian, on the grounds that Christianity is approximately justice for the undesirable etc. on the different hand, in case you spot it as 1 / 4 day between the vernal equinox and the summer season solstice, some Christians could be much less happy with that. i could, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, propose that such Christians be greater tolerant of alternative faiths. additionally, that's rather like Harvest competition in opposite, and that's a wonderfully mainstream area of church existence.

No, but my best friend will be this year. She lives in Thailand and it's to far for everyone to visit. Everbody is sending little packages and cards and junk, so if you are going to be alone, I hope this happens for you. Merry Christmas, and enjoy your peaceful day!

Yes, I stayed home and cleaned (something I hate to do), but I had nowhere to go. I tried to act like it was just any other day.
