of course a doctors opinion would be really helpful but just to ease your fears, I am extremely irregular with no medication and sometimes have my periods only 4 or 5 times a year. I know that I probably should be on medication and maybe I will soon, but I do have 2 beautiful boys! and no difficulty getting pregnant at all. In fact 4 days with my second!

I have irregular cycles and I have a 5 yr old daughter. I had to use clomid which is a fertility med to help me Ovulate in a timely manner. Are you sure you even Ovulate? You can have a period and still not ovulate. It is annovulary bleeding when your lining becomes too thick and it needs to shed. I would try charting my body basal temperature.and you can do so for free at www.fertilityfriend.com. All you need is a digital thermometer. If you want to talk to me about it further feel free to email me.

That's a question you really need to ask your doctor. However, if it is any comfort to you. I had a friend who was told by doctors that she didn't ovulate, her periods were extremely irregular too. She got pregnant 3 times, the 3rd time was unplanned. Another friend of mine was told that she would probably never had children, last time I saw her she had...........5, no actually I think it was 6.

Well do you take birth control? It sounds to me that you have you have an estrogen imbalance. Also do you have erratic mood swings, and large amounts of water retention? I would speak with a doctor about it. I think overall your ok, but irregular cycles can cause you to have blood clauts, and that is never good.

This is not a question for YAHOO! but a question for a professional. If your really concerned you need to ask your doctor or your OB if you have one. Planned Parenthood is also a good option if you dont feel comfortable asking your normal doctor.
