Just his little pregame ritual that he goes through. Just like KG clapping powder in front of the scoring table. Jordan used to do that to Johnny 'Red' Kerr at Bulls games.

Thats Lebron's way of getting up the crowd before the games. Lebron has adopted this as a ritual, being in the Q witnessing this does hype the crowd.

It's that powdered chalk that is something like gymnasts use so they don't slip and fall off. I'm assuming he uses it to get a better grip on the ball.

As for throwing it in the air, I figure it's just one of those superstitious things that he needs to do before a game, and the crowd seems to like it too.

It's the same before game tradition as what KG does. KG does it to get into the face of all the reporters/media.

because he knows smoking cocaine is wrong, so he shows it by buying large amount of cocaine before games, and throw them into the stands to send out a message to cocaine doers, something for Josh Howard to think about.

the thing that drives me nuts about LeBron is his damn nail biting!! every time they show him on the bench he's gnawing away...he must not get enough protein!
