Well get rid of the Kitty wallpaper on your desktop, that is probably just scaring it. Poor wittle mousy wousy. Anyway that is the risk you take when you have a wireless mouse, they just run away. the old fshioned kind had leashes on them so they had to stay put. Tell it that if it does not behave you will stick it in the drawer.

Ive had 13 mice at once before he probably needs to get used to being held and when taking him out of the cage quickly grab him by the tale and place him in your hand.
