It fell under the right of privacy. The government cannot regulate what the woman does with her body and yes it is HER body. The embryo is attached to her uterus and wouldn't be viable. Hence, is not an independent organism, it is within the woman. Around the third trimester it could live outside and that is why I only support abortions in the first trimester.

No one has the "right" to commit an evil. That much, any reasonable human being will admit. For example, who in his right mind would affirm that a murderer has the "right" to kill, or that a rapist has the "right" to rape, or that a thief has the "right" to steal.
The problem is one of freedom, yes, but freedom is not unlimited in scope. Unlimited, unconditional "freedom" is a false freedom, for it quickly leads to chaos and the destruction of society. This being said, can a "freedom" to commit an evil act exist? Obviously, the answer is no. But abortion is an intrinsically human act, for it is the massacre of an innocent life. Therefore it can in no circumstances be justified under the pretext that "I am free to do what I want". No. If you commit an abortion, you are not free. Only an act that is (1) true and (2) good can be an act of real freedom.
I hope this little reflection helps.

It doesn't matter what the courts say, they are simply pawns of the political establishment. The right to abortion is a natural right of man and if it is taken away the entirety of society will suffer. The Goodness of abortion lies in the fact that all men should have the free will to use their best judgement to better their lives.
When a woman is wrongly impregnated, by rape, accident, or other means, only she is aware of the circumstances. Only she has to live with the results of the wrongful impregnation. Society on occasion is controlled by zealots that believe they know better what is right for each individual than the individual themselves.
When a woman is raped, two things can happen. The rapist can be rewarded with a child or the woman can abort. The pro life movement wants to reward the rapist on every occasion.
When a woman is wrongly impregnated by accident or othewise, she can either carry the wrongful inpregnation to term and reward the pro life movement for their intrusion in her life or she can abort.
In both the rape and the wrongful impregnation, a person that has taken away the rights of a woman is rewarded. Rape and pro life are practiced equally by evil people. Rapist and pro life supporters are both men and women who believe that they have the right to control the reproductive rights of others. There is no moral difference.
Abortion is the natural right of a woman to defend herself from the taking away of her right to free will. And the right to self determination and free will end when the pro life position is forced on society.

It is my right because the government cannot force me to :
A) Keep something in me I do not want in me
B)Stop me from keeping something in me I want in me.
Look, why not question why in states where abortion is ILLEGAL I can kick a 9 month pregnant woman in her stomach and kill her baby and not be charged with murder BUT if I abort MY OWN baby, its murder????
This is LIFE, and its not right or wrong, it just is. AND your morals ARE NOT mine. YOU don't have an abortion OR start a centre to grow fetus' outside the womb for women who don't want to carry AND have an orphanage for all the unwanted babies you'll save.
UNTIL then, save me your moralities, I have real life and real hungry babies to worry about...not ideals from a MAN who can walk away at anytime.

No-one has the right to terminate the life of another human being. The so-called "right" to kill your children is based upon the so-called "right to privacy", a "right" that is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution. No right is valid that abuses or ignores the rights of others. The very first right mentioned in the Constitution is the right to life. This fundamental right is ignored in abortion and other forms of murder, since it denies another individual's right to his/her life. This a right that, according to the Constitution, is inalienable, which means it is not granted by the state and cannot be legislated away by the state.
