Im a huge fan of the Texans and after yesterday , I felt sick watching Vince Young come in and dominate us. So if at all possible, Id like to hear from David Carr supporters out there.

I'm not a Texans fan, but Aside from Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith (GM), i don't think there are much David Carr fans out there.
I really do not have the slightest idea why they decided to draft defense, especially a Defensive End, (at least a Linebacker would have made a bit more sense). Houston might be buying into the idea that "defense wins championships". but to get to a championship you have to WIN GAMES first, and you need an offense to win games. David Carr is a good QB, but in a team in which doesn't fit his style. of course the O-line is to blame too, they are the highest (or near highest) paid O-line in the NFL and all they produce is sacks for the other team. but there are several NFL coaches that say that sacks are as much as the O-line fault as it is the QBs, QBs must watch for pressure in order for him to know where he and his line will be and where the rushers will be. usually a Offensive tackle in pass protection moves back into a semi circle, and if the QB drops too far back w/o telling his line, then outside blitzers or even just a DE has a clear shot at the QB. Vince Young would probably be able to buy more time with his feet, even with a bad O-line.

After the Draft, I said to everyone, if Mario Williams can singlehandedly more stop more TDs than Reggie Bush OR Vince Young can score TDs in 2-3 years then I won't consider him a bust but so far Mario Williams isn't doing that great, Mainly because he's a DE. DEs are limited to the side they are on, unlike Linebackers or Safties that roam around the field. still i have no idea why they passed up Reggie Bush and Vince Young

hopfully in future drafts and Free agency period your team will make better decisions and learn from this.

Carr can't get enough time to get the long ball - play to Johnson due to the weak Offensive line, don't get me wrong....he is a good player, but HE IS NO PLAYMAKER like Vince is.... The Texans organization should have learned from the Heisman Shunning Vince recieved last year ar this time.....All he did was make those voters look retarded!.... and he did it again!... I couldn't tell who was for the Texans or Vince on Yesterday, But he made another highlight before my very eyes!.... GO VINCE GO! This is gonna' eat the TEXANS FRANCHISE for a very long time.

It sucks for you as a Houston fan. Not only do they pass on Bush but they pass on Young. Their excuse for not drafting them is "if the d can't stop anyone what's the point of having all that offense?". Do they even watch football? Look at the Colts. They're not 10-3 because their D put them there, granted they probably won't win SB because they have no D. I think there will be future draft class with great defensive weapons but to pass up on a draft with all these great offensive rookies (Leinart, Young, Cutler, Bush, Colston, Maroney, Williams, Jones-Drew to name a few) is just crazy.

nicely, needless to say it grew to become right into a plenty necessary pass. It did not take place final twelve months because of the fact of money motives. yet, while finding on the strikes the administration of the Texans are making, one has to truly ask your self whether they comprehend what they are doing. I even have appeared at who they have picked up interior the off season at this ingredient, and it style of sounds like they are figuring out on the scraps off of people's plates. I do basically not see any ambitious strikes made with the help of the Texans to get some management on the team. i don't comprehend. I stay close to Houston, and can quite prefer to have aggressive team right here. yet, truthfully, with the strikes the possession makes, i'm left thinking what they are thinking. Who knows of? in spite of this pass, many are nevertheless predicting they're going to probable have on the subject of the comparable season, or win one much less or so. They necessary a QB, yet i don't comprehend if this one grew to become into nicely worth 2 2d around possibilities or not. Time will tell on that one. truthfully, after the Mario Williams ordeal final twelve months, my head remains spinning. It makes you ask your self whether they are quite committed to triumphing. And, given the seasons they have had, I nevertheless don't comprehend why value tag costs have not come down a splash. Nosebleed endzone seats are nevertheless over $40. Even in a smaller stadium, with the Astros rather much continually in rivalry to get to the playoffs, you may get a seat at Minute Maid for $15. and human beings ask your self why I even tend to observe greater college ball than the NFL.

First of all, David carr is a good qb. they just suck at o-line and everything else. and they shouldn't have drafted williams or young but rather reggie bush.
