Shes playing herself. Unless she has been lying to everyone and posing as a lesbian when she was really bisexual, then she is kidding herself if she thinks she is all of a sudden "Not gay" anymore. And i really hopes she comes to terms with this b4 its too late.

Is this man affluent or something? Sometimes lesbians get with straight guys for golddiggerish reasons, while they are still secretly into women.

Or is your friend in a hurry to have a kid before her biological clock stops ticking? That's another reason that a lesbian might suddenly get with a man.

Well... one thing you should realize is that it is her life and her body... whatever she decides is only affecting her and not you.... if you truly are her bestfriend you would understand what makes her happy and butt out of who she wants to sleep with, guy/girl you should only be concerned with if they treat her right or not..... maybe the whole lesbian thing was just a phase she went throu....maybe the straight thing is just a phase.... you don't know which is which as of right now..... just support her through thick and thin and don't push your own opinions on her.....let her be happy!

She may have been bi all along. Some women and men too are bisexual and go back and forth. She may not have been satisfied with her relationship, or she might want children and believes a mom and dad are best, who knows? Then again he might of just caught her eye and she wants a little fun. Wait and see is all you can do.

i think of that she in all likelihood is a lot in love with you. yet that subject is almost creepy that's beneficial to speak to her. She feels like she is in all likelihood a lesbian. yet once you at the instant are not a lesbian you could inform her that it is not going to happen.

She's bisexual. It happens. Sometimes society forces us to conform. It happens a lot with bisexuals. Because of who they're with at the moment, they'll claim a certain sexuality. If they're active in the gay community, bisexual women will claim to be a lesbian, just because it makes life easier. If they're with a man, they may claim to be straight, just to avoid conflict.

About the kinding part, ask her. As for the rest, people change their views, beliefs and tastes often. Who knows, one of your straight friends might trun lesbian and make up for it!

And finally, she is *still* your bestfriend, right?

Could just be she found a guy that does it for her.

It happens, I was killing myself laughing when a gay friend of mine came up begging for advice on a similar subject.

My guess is we're putting to much stock in it being a binary condition. People just tend to be attracted to one type over another, but there are exceptions.

That's why we don't peg sexuality.

Sexuality is fluid, whether gay, straight of bisexual, you just go with the flow.

And love is.... love. If we put boundaries on it, then we would be missing out on the best that love can give.

I would say she's bi, not lesbian....and she's fickle. and perhaps has trouble with commitment. no one can "get out of the lifestyle." you can't change who you innately are.
