1) 27 equals 9% of 300 Ans.
27 = (9/100) *x
x = 2700/9
x = 300

2) 40% of 50 = 20 Ans.
40/100*x = 20
x = 2000/40 = 50

3) 40% of 50 = 20

4) 8 = 4 % of 200 Ans
8 = 4/100*x
x =800/4 = 200

1 division problem you know you have 9% and you want 100% so divide 27 by 9 = 3 now this is 1% of your answer so now multiply by 100 3X100 = 300

2 and 3 You have the same Problem twice but here we go

It's the same as problem 1 your know what 40% of a number is so divide 20 / 40 = .5 that gives you 1% of the number so 0.5 X 100 = 50

50*.40= 20
4 Same thing find out what 1% is then multiply 100

8/4=2 2 is 1% of the number multiply 100. 2*100=200

200*.04= 8

Hope it clear if now leave an edit and I'll try to help.

call x everything you don't know:

27 = 9% of x
40% of x = 20
8 = 4% of x

use the percentages and ratios:
a percent is a 1/100 of a whole, or 0.01:
9% = 9/100, or 0.09

1) 27 = (9/100) * x /*(100/9) (dividing by a rational number -> 9/100, is the same as multiplication with the reciprocal of that rational number: 100/9)
27 * (100/9) = x
(27/9)*100 = x
3*100 = x
300 = x
check:
27 = (9/100) * 300
27 = 2700/100
27 = 27

2) and 3) are the same
40% of x = 20
(40/100) *x = 20 /* (100/40)
x = 20*(100/40)
x = 2000/40
x = 50

check
(40/100) * 50 = 20
2000/100 = 20
20 = 20
OK

4.)
8 = 4% *x
8 = (4/100) * x /*(100/4)
8*(100/4) = x
200 = x

check:
8 = 4% * 200
8 = (4/100) * 200
8 = 800/100
8 = 8
Ok

volume of each crate = 3 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft = 14 cu.ft. volume of truck = 24 ft x 8 ft x 10 ft = 1920 cu. ft. No of crates in truck = 1920 / 14 = one hundred sixty Estimate of calculators one hundred sixty x ninety two = 14720 to one hundred sixty x ninety six = 15360 yet in a distinctive thank you to look at this question: by using length the truck holds 24 ft / 3 ft = 8 crates by using width the truck holds 8 ft / 2 ft = 4 crates by using extreme the truck holds 10 ft / 2 ft = 5 crates finished cracks truck can carry = 8 x 4 x 5 = one hundred sixty Estimate comparable as above. you additionally can use the mean fee of calculators in each and each crate: (ninety two + ninety six) / 2 = ninety 4 Then the estimate would be ninety 4 x one hundred sixty = 15040
