Im 16.4 weeks and feeling my wonderful baby move about already. However, partner is sad he can't feel anything yet. At what point can he expect to join in the fun?? I get conflicting views on this, some say 20 weeks, some say longer

I usually started feeling my babies move around 14 weeks, my husband however, didn't start to feel them until 20-25 weeks, depending on the pregnancy, and baby I guess. I would ask my husband so much... give me your hand, did you feel that... you didn't feel that... did you feel that. lol. He would start to lie and say yes when he in fact didn't feel a thing. I found him out one day when I asked him.. did you feel that.. and the baby hadn't moved at all... he said yes. LOL, you will know when he does feel something though, his face will light up.

A lot of that is going to depend on your body size. If you're thin, it can be around 20 weeks or so, but if you've got a little extra insulation it might take a little longer. Tell him not to get discouraged yet, just wait until you're 30-some weeks and the baby's trying to kick him out of bed!

Yes, around 20-28 weeks the dads can usually feel the baby. I am 19 weeks and can feel movement on the inside, but not on the outside yet. Congrats and Good luck!

Hi well you are already ahead of the game....16.4 is pretty early to feel it, i was 17 weeks feeling mine and hubby felt her kick at 18-19 weeks. It just depends on how thin you are they say the skinnier you are the easier and sooner you will feel and be able to feel it.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU

My husband first felt our baby when I was 31 weeks. He's only felt his once tho, and now i'm 34 weeks.

We work different shifts, so he goes to bed before I do. And our baby is very stubborn. As soon as daddy puts his hand on my belly, our baby stops moving and kicking. When his hand is gone, he starts in again!!

It became into approximately 24 weeks while i became into waiting to experience the infant shifting in my wifes abdomen. She had long gone to sleep an hour or so in the past, and that i became into very almost to fall asleep with my arm round her, then he kicked complicated hastily :) He'd been kicking sufficient that she ought to experience it from the exterior at around 22 weeks, whether it did not happen very oftentimes so i did not experience it dazzling away.

It depends on your baby. some babies arent' very active so they never feel the baby move. MY DAUGHTER was a gymnast and at 20 or so weeks you could see her movements. Fun for him not so much for me.
