I have heard of using toothpaste, but I didn't want to, because I didn't really know how they meant to use it, and how long to leave it on there, and how much to use... if you know the answer to that part, please explain...

CD Doctor is the best. I have DJ'd and that has always been an issue for me, and this is just what I have found. Also the toothpaste will scratch your cd- not a good idea.

what i do that works best for me is take some thing soft like a cotton ball and get it wet with alcohol and gently rub it from the center (were the hole is)to the end of the CD.than after that run it under a LITTLE water vary slow.Than dry it there you go your cd is clean.

Take a sponge, make it wet with water.and run the sponge through the CD in a circle order.Don't clean it vertically or horizontally. This is the best way to clean a CD.Alcohol is also a good option, but I prefer water.

You can find CD cleaning solution at Best Buy - however, I usually wash the disk in the sink with plain water.

Take an all cotton shirt to dry it.

Has worked great for me!
