Why do women keep up this sugar and spice pretense?

Many woman I know still keep a bed full of stuffed animals, where little hearts and stuff like that, and yet I don't know a woman that doesn't have fangs.

Because the wonderful thing about being a woman is that we ARE sugar and spice AND we have fangs...we are multi-faceted creatures that men will never be able to figure out....we know you want to, but as hard as you try, you will never be able to...just like we can't figure out why men are so nice one minute and a royal jerk the next....if we could figure each other out, there would be no mystery and no differentiation and it would be utterly boring for all of us...

Well, it IS childish, but why can't women be more complicated than you're implying? Why do they have to be one thing or another? Are there no (seemingly) contradictory characteristics within yourself? And, if so, is this merely a "pretense?" People, not just women, are multi-faceted, with many sides to their personality. And how boring would the world be if this weren't true?

it's the only way you men can feel like your the big man, cause if you knew that women don't need men for anything except sex, then you wouldn't feel like the big hero. We constantly have to stroke your egos or you won't feel like a man. So as long as men keep leaving their wives for the tart down the street, and looking at porno mags with 20 yr olds in private school uniforms, and love dumb blondes who always get on their knees when you tell em to, women are going to be forced to use their feminine wiles to keep our incredibly disloyal husbands at home. In short Independant women scare the hell out of you because it proves that you are not needed. So we put on a show because we know you couldn't handle it any other way.

Hey I started to notice that women are very complex creatures. For instance they are the only female species to hide the fact when they are menstruating. Secondly they are the only female species to maintain full breats even when they have no children which is unique. These are biological manifestations of hiding her reproductive status from the male but not from each other because women who are close will menstruate together. What I am saying is there is a propensity to be secretive and to use mis directions.

I don't have a bed full of stuffed animals but I play the good role sometimes because I can get things done by using less effort. As cruel as it sounds it works. Men would be more willing to help the damsel in distress than he would the goth chick in distress. Life is tough enough having to figure things out, if I can get a hand once a while, why not?

Women like to be "girlie girls". But at the same time, don't piss them off. I always say what's on my mind, and if you make me mad, you're gonna know it.
