Im 20, but this is my first lead character in a major film. I don't want people to know Im working my way up to big stars. What should I do?

Why not? You're telling strangers. Tell the fam unless you think they'll ridicule you - then screw 'em till you show up in your limo.
It would be kind of a cool surprise to keep for them if they are a loving family..

If you've never done a movie before, you won't get a lead and you won't be flown here. If anyone has suggested such to you over the internet, you are being scammed. You should definitely tell someone so that you don't risk getting kidnapped or something.

Why don't you want people to know? Also, its your family not random people. This is a big deal! You should tell them. I bet they will be happy for you. Plus, you are going out of state. They should know where you are in case something happens.

i think your parents are going to be offended that you're telling the rest of the world before them. But if this is legit then let someone know who knows your parents in case the plan goes down and they can't find you.
