I can't chose between the 2 of them..Both bring something different to the Manchester United side and both have world class attributes. Cristiano Ronaldo is the more exciting player who can get you off your feet in anticipation of what he will do next Wayne Rooney has that awareness and sheer footballing class
Manchester United fans are lucky to have 2 players at this age and of this ability in their side
i love Man UTD they are my favourite team

Ronaldo definitely causes opposing players more headaches up the side lines than Rooney. He creates more chances for himself and others by being so talented and drawing the attention. In addition, his free kicks are amazing. I noticed no one has mentioned his free kicks and corners. I'm a Man U fan, and I have never even seen Rooney take a corner. As for the diving criticisms, I think that Rooney's hot headedness is far more harmful to his play then Ronaldo's acting abilities. Ronaldo also gets unfairly targeted on that front by the English commentators because they still need someone to blame for World Cup.

They are both talented footballers. Both have different strengths and weaknesses. Cristiano has great speed and ball skills but quite often all the fancy footwork fails to yield results. Wayne's form has been a little erratic, but he has played himself back into great form with patience. That shows he is maturing. Wayne has ball skills that are quite good but under developed, he has not really been required to build on this part of his game to the extent Cristiano has. I think Wayne has better vision though and has made a big effort to improve and work on his outbursts. Cristiano has, whether one admits it or not, taken little action to rectify his penchant for simulation. My vote goes to Rooney. I think he is more solid and I'd have him in my side any day. I'm a Man U fan and have nothing against C Ronaldo, I just prefer to Rooney.

Both Very talented , Rooneys a Better Shooter and Ronaldo is a Better Ball Dribbler i think Ronaldo since he has passing ability to Back up That AMAZING ball dribbling skill .

That is an interesting comparison. Both stars have been known for their unusual temperament and both are very talented and world class players. I feel that Rooney's strength is scoring goals while C. Ronaldo's is creating chances for scoring goals. If I had to go with one I'd pick C. Ronaldo-- I think he is just more of a versatile player.

Rooney. He is just amazing. Ronaldo has alot of skill and speed but he dives too much and sometimes over does it with the tricks.
