I'm going to the set of Hannah Montana, can I ask if I can audition for Disney Channel there?

Question

In January or February, I am going to the set of Hannah Montana with one of my best friends. A lot of people mistake us for twins, so maybe we can land a twin role on Disney Channel? If not, I would love to ask someone there if there are any upcoming auditions, and if I can audition for any of them. Will I be able to ask this? I've been wanting to act on Disney channel for a while. (I've gone to the set of Hannah Montana before, it hadn't occured to me to ask this last time)

I doubt you'll see anyone high enough in the production team to ask about an audition, and even if you did it would be pointless - they go to great trouble to avoid people who try to "crash" the set. A better way to go about it is to find a good agent for child actors. I live in Florida, and I heard on the radio that one of the agents that casts for the Disney Channel will be in Tampa sometime soon, and she is having an open casting call for young actors age 5-14. Your best bet apart from finding an agent is to find all the open casting calls for children - like the one in Tampa - that you can.

Oh, and forget the whole "my friend and I could play twins" angle. You will never look as much alike as real twins do.
