blistex works for me

dont get the white stuff, it sucks
get the stuff in the tube, it also comes in flavors if you dont like the menthol-ish flavor

it is the only stuff that stop my lips from burning when they are dried out and they are not dry again in 10 minutes!

I would say either Carmex or Blistex... definitely. They both work really well, but Carmex tastes nasty, and it's a little goopy... but if you don't mind that, it's wonderful. I put it on one day and 10 mins later my lips weren't burning whatsoever, and they weren't even red anymore. :) It's wonderful. Blistex is also a great alternative. It'll take the burn out, but it tends to make your lips look white if you use a lil too much... so just watch the amount! Both work really well for cold sores also...

The best that I have found for chapped lips is Carmex, It does smell a little, but it heals and protects and is not wax based like chapsticks.

Well, you just about eliminated all possibilities except for Vaseline. It shines, protects and moisturizes. I always keep a small container in my purse. My lips are soft and kissable at all times in any weather. I hope it works for you.
