When you squeeze its paw it plays "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting" and kind of dances. It's actually quite amusing in a horribly annoying and tacky sort of way.
There's a story behind it... former Yahoo! Answers project manager Yumio had a Kung Fu Hamster that he used to call the Answers engineers to meetings. One day one of the engineers posted a picture of said Kung Fu Hamster on the Answers Team 360 page as a joke. Well, it kind of stuck. The real-life photo went away at some point (my guess is they were worried about copyright issues around using someone else's product as their mascot), but when Answers came out of Beta testing the hamster returned by popular demand in his current cartoon form.

Do you know remember the ninja like hamster that was out as a toy a few years ago?....shoot, what was that song it played? Kung foo fighting...it was hilarious, my daughter has one. I like the stupid mascot, hes cute. Mascots rarely make sense.
