I finished everything in November but don't feel bad. You got things up as soon as you could. Better late than never is what I say. I just had the time to do it early and really wanted to be able to enjoy it all for the full month of December. Since I no longer use a real Christmas tree due to my son's asthmatic and allergic condition it made it really easy to do early.
Have a happy holiday!

Well, I have my tree up and decorated. I also went over to my grandmother's house and decorated for her. I started shopping about a month ago and finished this weekend. I needed to start early so I could afford everything and pay for everything in cash (no January credit card surprise for me!). I am almost done with my christmas cards....
Now before it sounds like I am bragging.....I should probably say that I still have not put everything in my kitchen back to where it was before I made thanksgiving dinner! (I think the stand mixer looks good stuffed under the table!...right....)

All the decorations are up. All the shopping is done and everything has been wrapped and placed under the tree. Cards have been written and sent. Now, it's time to set back, relax and enjoy this time with family and friends.

I done most of my shopping yesterday, what a nightmare.I've recently moved in to a new place,so my decorations are going to be minimal this year i think.
But as long as my children have fun Christmas day, what does it matter about the decorations.

Oh gods... my wife wanted to go shopping the first of December. We were able to get most of the gifts, the tree, ornaments, wrapping paper, etc., etc. We got home late that evening, removed my broken down chair, put up the tree, decorated it, and she then disappeared into our room and wrapped everything that wasn't for her!! And to think... there is still more to come!!

We're done shopping. Did most of it right before Thanksgiving since we celebrate my aunt's birthday then. Since we had to get a birthday present for her, we figured we should do the shopping. Of course, there were odds and ends to finish, but we're done.
We still haven't put up any decorations but the wreath on the front door since we found it yesterday. I still have to put the fall wreath away and I have to clean to put the stuff up.
