They headed due north at a steady trot and by morning, exhausted, hungry and thirsty, they found themselves on the deserted sandy north shore of the island. As they staggered along the shore they came across what certainy must have seemed a mirage. Sitting on the sand in front of them was a 2 liter can, filled to the brim, with ice-cold beer. As it turned out, it wasn't a mirage and herein lies the problem. Tyrone & Sam have only the can to drink from, and absolutely nothing around to measure the depth or amount of beer. How can they share the can of beer so that they can each be certain of getting EXACTLY half?

Tell them to leave the beer alone, as alcohol causes dehydration and it will eventually make their thirst worse. Tell them to wait until they find fresh water. Or if they must have it measure and mark half way up the can.
