Sure they do.
People hear about things here in America for we are more apt to put it on the news. Other countries may feel this is something people do not need to hear about.
Other countries say America has more of this or that, no we do not. It is just publicized when there countries keep it hush hush...

Yes other countries have fires. They probably see it as a local or national news event not a global one. If you are curious sign up for a global news on the Internet or read global newspapers. There are many newspapers and new agencies on-line around the world.
