I am going travelling and want to be able to store photos and music, burn discs and also check and send emails etc, but don't want to carry a laptop around with me. Does anyone know of any devices that fit the bill?!

An iPod and blackberry would do all of that except the burning CDs bit.

Sounds like what you really need is, I'm afraid, a laptop!

Why not a laptop?
You could use a PDA with GPRS and a 2GB flash card for internet & some storage. Get a PDA which can take CompactFlash & get a USB card for that to plug in an external Hard Drive, GPRS/Wifi card (if it doesn't have it inbuilt) & an external CD burner.
Though that still wounldn't be any better than a laptop & it'd mean lugging a hell of a lot round with you.

Why not just get a small laptop?

It's the burning CDs that knackers you. Everything else can be done on Ipod/mobile phone/PDA. What about carrying a data stick and downloading data onto that rather then a CD?

Thats an odd order. I think you will have to have a laptop on the CD burning part. If you didn't have to then almost anything else would work in tangent.
