Yes, I think I can and I think I could even put them in very close proximity of where they should be on the map. I'd be pretty good, too, with their capitols. I taught this for six years, but I can guarantee you most of the kids I taught it to, forgot it once the test was over. There's a website that gives you a blank map of the US and a state at a time and you have to place the state in the right place. Great fun for a teacher!

I couldn't do it alphabetically, though. I do it by region--the way I taught it!

Yes...in the UK we are taught about world geography and history, not just about our own country.... at least we were when I was at school sometime ago...
