I am her husband and by right I should be able to do as I please. Any thoughts or comments that may sway her thinking would be appreciated.

She maybe feel insecure about her body or that she feels being in the shower is very private. Just because you are her husband doesn't give you the right to invade her privacy or do something that she doesn't want you to do.
But if you want to videotape her, ask her why she refuses and then go from there. Good luck!

She's probably afraid when she's your ex wife you'll use it against her. Why on earth would you want to video tape someone in the shower anyway? To me being in the shower is my private time. I can stand under the warm mist and NOT hear MOMMY!! I don't have to feed the dogs, go to work, or deal with life in the shower. I'd let it rest for now and not nag her about it since it sounds to me like she's pretty set against it. Maybe bring it up again during a romantic time. Baby her a little she'll appreciate it.

Let me get this straight, you think that because you're her husband you have the RIGHT to videotape her in the shower?
You are her husband YOU should respect her wishes and leave her the he11 alone while she's in the shower. That has nothing to do with her insecurities as stated in one of the other answers, but obviously with your inability to realize that you are not living in the 18th century, but here bud, in the 21st century where women have the right to make decisions that affect them and their bodies.
Have you ever heard of the Supreme Court? In 1973 the U. S. Supreme Court gave women the right to make decisions about their bodies citing the RIGHT TO PRIVACY!!!

She is your wife and by right should be able to do as she pleases. She doesn't want to be videotaped, that's her right. You do not have free reign simply because you marry someone. What ever happened to equal rights, compromise, 50/50, PARTNERS??? I feel sad for your wife. Show her a little respect and she might be more willing to try new things with you. Treat her like a possession and she will not feel the love.

You honestly didn’t expect this to be taken seriously. You can’t demand something of an individual wife or not and expect us to side with you. Regardless of whether you feel as though she should BY RIGHT do something because you are who you are and she has no other rights than yours, she still has the freedom and right to divorce your pathetic tail despite your approval. Why in the world would you want to tape her in the shower? You can see her in the shower if you like. You don't need a camera. Kind of fishy here...if she don't want you to do it then be a gentleman and accept her decisions.

Let it rest, man! If she doesn't feel comfortable being videotaped then don't do it! Maybe talk about it and see if you can come to a compromise. Don't be pissed at her because she doesn't want you to though...and don't force her! Or are you going to trade her back for the two sheep you paid for her?

With all of the taping that goes on with this type of thing I agree with her. Who knows...Maybe she will get famous and then you two break up and you try to make money off this...I would respect her wishes and not do it.

Why don't you fool her into it. Get her all horned up, and convince her. In fact you could get involved yourself and make a armature adult film. Then you can watch it together and see how pathetic you are in the sack together. Then you send it to me, I will edit it and make you both famous, how about that you sick twisted ungrateful bastard. Your wife has a choice in the matter if she says no it is no. Respect her rights as an individual.
