Everyone in my family gets a Christmas stocking no matter what age. from the oldest 22 to the youngest 13. The stockings are always their favorites and will continue. This year I will add a stocking for my daughter in law.

When the last of my kids left home, he was 24 years old and he still had a Christmas Stocking!!! His Fiancee fills his stocking now and it still hangs at the bottom of his bed.Keep tradition going as long as you can, after all Christmas is fun and should be full of tradition and joy. Enjoy yourselves!!!!!

I'm 47 and my girls(26,23,18) and I still do the stockings for everyone ,,that includes their brothers(25,20) and 1 wife (23)and their hubsband(26,23) and all the grandkids( 7 in total),,it is something that we have never let go of,,it is fun to search and find the little things that go in the stockings

unfortunately, growing up, we never had a filled stocking. stockings were hung on the mantle, but as a decoration only.
it wasn't until i was married that i was informed that stockings were for more than decorations and that MOST children and adults receive one each year filled with thoughful gifts.

My brother carries on the tradition at his house.
I will have a stocking stuffed with who knows what!
He is really the traditionalist who carried these traditions on after our mum died.

im 45 and i still get a stocking my dad is 81 and he gets one to so does my mom at 77 and my husband 41 , i hope you get a stocking they can put little neat gifts in it i think you are never to old for one . merry christmas

When I turned 16 my grandma told me it was my last year to get one.....I was so disappointed because her stocking were the best!! Man, this year I may not get Santa, what a bummer!!

I'm 25 and I usually get three stockings each year (one from my boyfriend, one from my ma and pa and one from my boyfriend's ma and pa). I also make one for my boyfriend. I do him an Easter Bunny trail too - but that's cause he is a big baby!
