You're answer really is rhetorical, after all a myth has no foundation in truth

I believe that there are things beyond our comprehension, and that the isle of Eire is a wonderful place full of mystery and power. Leprechans are actually the remnants of the once powerful Tuatha de Dannon who were defeated by the Sons of Mil and who became, eventually the "little people". I have seen mushroom rings, whether they are signs of fairies or just natural occurances doesnot matter - either way they tickle the imagination. I don't know what/who Fenvara is... I don't believe the myths of the Irish any more than I believe the myths of any other race or even religion, but they are wonderful stories and Ireland is one of last places of true story-telling in the world...

Children do! and after all, everyone wants to see their children happy so whats better than a few magical tales.

I would not be supprised if a lot of Irish or St Patric days celebraters believe in them too! These "myths of the irish" are part of their heritage and so they will treasure them :)

I dont know if I believe Everything that they tell you about because I know that over time the stories have stretched far beyond reality but I do Believe that there is more in this world than what we know about ... something special and strong is still out there waiting to be discovered.

ps What is a Fenvara?

The moon is made of green cheese. Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy. Britney Spears is a good mother. You should wait for a hour after eating before going in to the pool. Life is just a bowl of cherries.

I was staggering home from the pub one night a couple years ago when all of a sudden I heard a screaching roar coming from behind me. I turned around and saw a pitch black stallion with flaming eyes bearing down on me. I tried to run, but being drunk and out of shape it was all in vain. The horse caught me and threw me on it's back. The monster raced over mountain and field and bog with equal facility, seeming to run on air. Faster and faster and faster the horse ran, screaming mingled with human speak. My heart was throbbing in my chest, and my knuckles were white from gripping the monster's mane... holding on for dear life. I don't mind saying that I was terrified.
After what seemed like an eternity I was back on the ground, back where the ride started. Weeping and mumbling gibberish I stumbled into my house, and passed out fully dressed on my kitchen floor.
It was months before I told anyone what had happened. I spoke with my grandma, and she told me it was a pooka, and that I was not the first person who had this happen to them.

So yes, I believe in faeries, and am thinking about starting a support group for survivors of Pooka Rides.

Of course i believe. I'm a redheaded Irish Leprechaun. being born on the 17th, many moons ago. I see you're forgetting our dragonfly friends.Nothing is lovelier than sitting and watching the faeries dancing in the moonlight, and the dragonflies dancing overhead.

Of course I do. There has to be something out there in the world that modern science has not proved or disproved, right? This is what I believe: maybe the faeries, leprechauns, fenvara, elves, goblins, dwarfs, and all the rest are not quite what we imagine them to be, but there is SOMETHING out there!!!!
