Address this one fact please ,rationally re 9/11?
This is a pic of one of the columns at WTC.Nobody disputes its authenticity.
.
It clearly shows a cut core.15years as a diver and steel worker and I can assure you ,that is not a torch cut. However it is ENTIRELY consistent with set directional charges used in demolition.

People say"oh well ,that is only one column" mY QUESTION IS how many columns would it take to convince you?If explosives were not used ,that cut column has no business being there now does it?
The FEMA investigators were not even allowed on site and the steel was taken away and sold as quickly as possible. To Baosteel in China at 25% below market.WITHOUT BEING EXAMINED WHICH IS LAW IN new york state where fire occurs in highrise steel fires over 10 stories

It is my belief that no breaker in his right mind would dare to stand next to vertical steel beams while burning them unless there was a crane sling in place to prevent the beam(s) from falling on the breaker or others.

If I'm correct and the uncontrolled fall was checked with a crane, then that would eliminate the need for down angled burns.

And, unless there was a need for such angles (that would take longer than straight burns) no one with thousands of tons of rubble to remove would waste the time making burns that are almost twice as long as straight burns, perpendicular to the length of the beam(s). (The angles would facilitate the collapse of the rubble into the structures' own footprint.)

LF member laconas pointed out that a Thermic Lance would leave slag that resembles what we see in the above photo. BUT AGAIN, the slag clearly shows that if they were burned with a lance then the burns were from the back. And, even though it would be possible to burn the front side

OK, for those of you who don't know what happened in 9/11 and think it was from terrorist, let me enlighten you.

Osama bin ladin is not against the U.S.A. He is working for Bush. I am sure Bush authorized the trade centre hit himself. Osama's job is to scare the crap out of Americans so that Bush can go to war and steal Iraq's oil when ever he wants. Otherwise Americans might protest against Bush and say that going to war is wrong and of course he might not have been reelected for his second term in office. The best summation I have ever read about this topic compares Bush and the Patriotic Act to Star Wars. I will re-post it here for your viewing pleasure:

Patriotic Bullshit
For those of you who are familiar with the Star Wars series, the patriot act is nothing more then Senator Palpatine calling for emergency powers during the separatist invasion. They may just be movies but they help open our minds to think out of the box and realize what is going on around us.

In the films the plot is that Chancellor Palpatine of the Galactic Republic is actually an evil sith lord who orders his apprentice to start a separatist movement against his very own Republic. With the republic under attack the Chancellor calls for a vote of emergency powers to allow him to take more control of the republic and its citizens in order to better deal with the separatists. After the separatists are nearly defeated however instead of returning those powers back to the Senate he has them revised into a new act which grants him even more control. Then he re-organizes the republic into an empire with himself as the dictator.

In reality, George W Bush, President of the United States is a man tied heavily into the Republican Party and Bureaucratic system. A middle-east terrorist group named Al-Quada is lead by a man named Osama Bin Laden whose family has great ties with the Bush family, has millions invested in the United States and were formerly even militarily trained by the U.S to fight oppressors. This group makes a highly organized attack on the U.S, giving the Bush and his government chance to launch the patriot act, a basic plea to give the government more control of the country and its citizens. Now after the war on terror is over instead of returning those liberties taken away in the patriot act to the senate and the people he has them revised into a new act which grants them even more control.

Currently, I’m waiting for the re-organization of this democratic system into the empire...

Paul,

I do not buy it at all. First: if thermite was used the steel beam would be melted. I do see melted debris. Possibly from the friction caused from thousands of tons debris falling into the area. Second: The steel beam does not appear "cut" it appears sheared. See those wavy lines. That is normal when stress causes steel the sheer off. And yes that column could shear under the wieght of the building falling from nothing other than a plane hitting it.

****Besides you just de-bunked your whole column theory****
You said, : It clearly shows a cut core.15years as a diver and steel worker and I can assure you ,that is not a torch cut. However it is ENTIRELY consistent with set directional charges used in demolition."""""

Now answer me this,: You have seen steel melt under the lowly cutting torch...you have seen it "melt".. where is the melting and cooled steel blobs so normal with thermite?? If a standard cutting torch can blob steel. I assure thermite would MELT massive blobs.

FEMA was allowed to look at the debris it was sent to a Landfill in New York, which is common practice for street filled debris.

And has it being only 1 column: and there are 3 more clearly standing. 1 Thermite charge as shown in your photo would not bring down the WTC.

That is enough. Your mind is made up. My points are furtile in the topic. But, riddle me this: how in the heck could you get enough ?bombs" in the WTC. I wish i could give me my Uncles Cell phone number so you can ask him. Oh, I forgot sorry, He got killed in the #2 tower.

After more than 20 years using all manner of welding/cutting equipment, I can say without hesitation that the photo is inconclusive. Anything further would be an opinion as I did not examine the column and have no credible information to state that the column was not cut by persons clearing the debris.

These theories are tired.

There is more than enough credible evidence to prove the attack on the WTC/Pentagon by radical Islamic terrorists is nothing more than it was. I have posted links to many, many websites documenting the evidence, from Popular Mechanics to Scientific American only to receive nasty email from the lose change crowd. Believe what you want, ignore the most logical conclusions, it is your right.

Assuming that the picture is real and from 9/11, the first question that comes to my mind is were there any directional charges used in the recovery effort.

My next question is do others in your profession, outside the group of 15 or so you mention, concur with cause of the damage to that beam.

You say it's consistent with a charge but is a charge absolutely the only thing that can damage a beam like that?

All it incredibly is logical, although the imam it incredibly is establishing this mosque has a history of answering questions approximately 9/11 and Hamas in an eye fixed-foreheadelevating way. additionally, the investment for this problematic mosque is being hid, so until that significant question could be replied, it won't proceed. yet another exciting actuality is that a Christian church which replaced into collapsed whilst Tower 2 fell is being blocked from being rebuilt close to Groud 0 b/c it incredibly is top could be greater desirable than the 9/11 memorial. although, the plans for the mosque will tower over the memorial and yet, that has been authorized so for sure there is not any longer an equivalent enjoying container right here. Do i believe it incredibly is their constitutional ideal to construct a mosque/community midsection right here (presented it is not being funded by using terrorist agencies)? confident Do i believe it incredibly is insensitive and unthoughtful of them to construct the mosque immediately and place? confident I additionally believe that it's going to open previous wounds and galvanize greater violence incredibly than carry peace and comprehend-a thank you to the non-radical Muslims. 2 blocks from that terrible tragedy isn't very a ways. And in fairness, it replaced into no longer strippers or alcoholics that attacked our u . s . a . on 9/11.

Based on google videos demonstrating the effect on how just a cup of thermite powder can quickly melt solid steel, there is no question that thermite was involved. In some of the closeup google/youtube videos showing a corner of the wtc building underneath the billowing smoke, you will notice bright golden-yellow molten steel dripping down the side of the building.

In a press conference released last september '06, the president mentions that the involvement of explosives within the buildings are of valuable information. With all the suspicious incidents uncovered including the proof you've presented, you've got to be living in a fish bowl to think explosives were not involved during the collapse of the buildings.

For every steel worker that can state the "authenticity" of the picture and what it states, there will be a steel worker that will tell you that you are full of sh!t.

Why does everyone continue to debate such a thing? Fact: It happened. Fact: Many American Citizens died. Fact: It affected all of us in some way.

Those are the facts that matter!!!!

This picture may have been taken weeks after the attacks, when they WERE cutting steel beams and columns so that they could remove them. If you can prove that this picture is shortly after the attacks, then you may have a point,,,,

These are all good points. There are many more which bring into question the official "theory" of what happened that day. If enough of us demand a real, impartial investigation, it will happen, even if it takes a long time.

Hopefully we won't have to wait as long as we have been for a real investigation of what happened to JFK.......
