You need to share the drive or directory.... In explorer, go to the directory you want to share, select it with the left button and qith the right mouse button open the pop-up menu...Select Sharing and Security and turn o sharing... Microsoft will ask you if you are sure since this will make you computer less secure.... Say yes... The enable sharing on the drive....

You should be able to see it from network neighbourhood now....

Note: You WAP may have a firewall that can block this...

Alot would depend on what operating system you're running. Not being evasive, it REALLY matters. If you're running Windows XP Home you'll need to turn on file and printer sharing and run the wizard if you're not sure how to configure.

document sharing is in any case on with the help of default. you in uncomplicated terms could desire to proportion a folder for the different machines on the community to work out it.yet i think of dat the undertaking is which you havent grew to become off the abode windows firewall(ICF). in case you havent turn this off.if not this there is yet another decision.dat is to log in because of the fact the community machines administrator utilising that admin password. say you prefer to hook up with "sommachine" s Dchronic.goto startmenu -> run and type somemachineD$.(this works for anychronic) so the username may well be requested and supply it as sommacineadministrator and apropriate password. then you definately would be shown the idealchronic.hop in a mail for extra information.
