yes -- a lap dance is a form of exotic dance --a qualified lap dancer obviously has had a lot of practice. Please check out the web page I have listed as my source. Hope I was helpful

Not here in the US, but in the UK there are a TON of Lap Dancing and Pole Dancing "universities". Apparently in strip clubs in the UK you get higher billing if you've graduated from one of these schools.

Now, I did find here in the US some exotic dance videos that you can purchase to help hone your skills, AND after you've purchased so many you'll receive a certificate of competancy. I don't really know how they figure that just because you bought the videos means you're any good, but it's as close as anything to a "qualified lap dancer" as it gets!!

Good luck!!

Phone in London to at least 3 or more good academies, They will give You a real answer.I think some people can do fine but like all good things, it is not easy of course.
Also it is yet a little underground matter, so still it has not very clear explicit classes because of moral-sex handicaps.Remember not many years ago just to go to the beach with bikini, it was not politically ok.

No,but i think if a person is flexible, has great sex appeal, is a good dancer he or she can be a qualified lap dancer or anything under that category.

I believe hte RAF sent a girl on a course in London to train to be a lap dancer as she was leaving the service.

I would be more than willing to give you a certificate, would you care to come and dance around my pole ;()

I don't think you can really get a qualification. But you can take classes, or learn through DVDs, a few moves. Then, it's practice. It's not as easy as it looks, actually (except maybe if you're a dancer).

Have had five lap dances in my life, and all five of the dancers seemed pretty damn well qualified...sure had my compass pointing north for the duration.

No - there are no official qualifications.
In the UK there is an organization called Pole Star where you can take classes. For classes in the US check the below link.

No. And Some surprisingly well educated young ladies do it. There is no stigma attached to this activity.

But it's not like they need any specific qualifications. I haven't seen many ugly ones though, come to think of it.

Obviously, if their customer doesnt, ahem,. "rise to the occasion", they won't last long.
